Short description:
Start your trek at the multi-ethnic village of Ban Kok Mee (Sida, Phounoi, Hmong, Khmu & other ethnic groups). Here, you walk through rubber tree plantations, mountain rice fields and community forests to the top of the Sam Yord Mountain
(three Peak Mountain ). Stay overnight in the Sam Yord village (Hmong Ethnic Group) and enjoy the tranquility of this secluded spot.
On the second day, follow the mountain trail shaded by the forest canopy. The trek crosses the Nam Khon River and passes livestock farms and the community forest of Ban Nam Khon , where you will stay overnight. Continue through lowland rice fields along a small steam. Have picnic lunch at the rice field hut.
The third day offers a journey deep in to the thick and dense forest of Sam Yord Mountain . Descend to the beautiful valley and rice fields of Nam Talan village (Khmu and Lanten Ethnic groups). Overnight in traditional Khmu accommodation and savor the flavors of Khmu cooking, during the third night. On the last day, continue trekking along the mountain slopes and you will finish your trek after arriving in Ban Sopsim (Khmu tribe).
